Runs Hot, Get With a Heatsink, Speeds Correct, Great for PC

Purchased this for the PC gaming drive instead of PS5, simply bc it was a higher speed than the competitors offerings. It does run very hot, so get this with a real heatsink if using in PC, I got the Vantec ICEBERQ M.2 available here on eBay. Even with the heatsink, it runs hotter than my S 980 Pro which only has a stock motherboard heatsink lol. FYI if you are wondering, the white heatsink it comes with is not pre installed, but does come with double sided thermal tape ready to go. This is actually a wise choice on their part, allowing you use a more robust heatsink if you are able and willing. This is my second or third M.2 SSD from ADATA and all are working great, the oldest of which is a couple years old now and in perfect health. To me, this is a comforting sign, and I have faith in their product. I likely will buy more.

Nice box, Alpine R 15 fits without mod

Pretty good box, mine was sealed well, I thought the carpeting was just fine. Nice pure black carpet, better than the 'felt' type. Fits the Alpine Type-R 15" just fine without having to mod the cutout, even with a few millimeters of play to center it as desired. The mdf seems of good quality. The terminal cup is definitely the weakest link, it is installed well but just is of low quality. I'm okay with that because I'm breaking in the sub for a few months at half power and will upgrade and expand the hole for the SMD terminal connection later. I knew from the pics that the terminal would need upgrading anyway, and for the price that's okay, and the existing one is probably fine for most users. I will definitely buy from them again and would recommend.

Perfect for Fractal Design Define lower HDD cage! Silent!

Got this to blow over the HDD in the cage in the lil cubby in a Fractal Design Define R6 case. If you have this or other Define cases you know where I mean. Don't bother trying a 92mm fan there, it looks like it'll fit but won't. Anyway this is perfect, it's hidden and silent, even cranked up to 100% I still cannot hear it, didn't even buy rubber gasket for it. Lowered a WD Black 6TB 7200 HDD temp from 40 C Idle to 34 C Idle with no added sound. I imagine temp deltas would be even more significant during heavy write loads. Looks like it would work great for old PSU's, lab equipment, SFF media pc's, or servers too.
