Fit's like the original

Fits and Works on a 4th gen Ipod click wheel version! My original was starting to fail constantly locking up, so I decided to try to replace the drive. Easy to do once the case is open, fits just like the original.

Ok for a replacement if oem is not an option

The crossover tube is very soft. When received it was a bit misshaped. It came in an envelope bag not a box. Since it’s very soft it easily can be reformed, but this also does not give me the confidence it will last like the oem units. I would buy the GM one next time. Double the price but a lot more stout.
