midnight express - not to be missed
I watched this film years ago and found it to be extraordinarily brilliant. A moving yet disturbing film that you want not to end. The film had me crying, yet I was enthralled and was unable to stop watching. The character Billy makes you want to reach out and help and prevent injustice in the world - even though he was guilty, the years he spent in prison with depraved human beings is the most shocking I have yet to witness. I have since viewed it many more times and it is still the best film I have every seen.
