A must for my stampedes rear differential. Any thing lighter and the rear end doesn't track right

I can finally keep a pinion gear on again
It is really nice to be able to tighten the screws that hold the tranny down again. Not to mention that when these cases get older the motor is not square to the spur gear anymore and the gears don't mesh right

2 of 2 found this helpful I upgraded my ecx amp with a leopard 3300kv brushless motor setup and shredded my stock plastic gears. The new metal gears work great and I expect them to last a long time. Unlike the stock plastic gears you need to put a little lithium grease in the tranny or they make some noise plus it adds to the longevity of the gears. Great product, very happy.......... I wrote this original review about six months ago or maybe a little longer. Since then i have gone through 2 metal gear sets. for some reason the teeth on the differential keep tearing up. The other gears seem fine but unfortunately you can not just buy the differential seperately. Strange thing is i put the original plastic diff. back in just so i could run and it is still in there. No problems at all so i have been running metal and plastic together all this time..... Very strange
