Don’t Pass This Up!
The American Bass XR 12 is the best sub for your money. It Hits really low, I have it in a custom built box tuned to 29hz. It has extremely heavy gut punching bass.This sub flexes my jeep windshield and makes my windshield wipers hover and do a dance lol.The American Bass XR is a true 12 inch subwoofer if you go to cut out your cutout in speaker box you’ll find that it’s 11.25 cut out. It 10.78 this because the basket is very wide plus the speakers terminals are all on one side which made it simple to wire. Also true 8awg push down speaker terminals. I ran 8 awg OFC sky high Audio wire to my terminals wired to 1 ohm I also ran 8awg from speaker box to amp. My amp is a 3000/1 1 ohm ds18 Exl amp with ofc 4 gauge nvx amp kit just because I’m only running one American Bass XR plus I want to break it in first before I put in my 0 awg Amerucan Bass OFC kit. My head unit is a Sony XAV 8000 which has 6v pre outs. And I’m still running stock altnater with a Duralast platinum AGM battery 1100 cca 950hca. So I feel with my set up I’m powering this sub at a healthy level not over powering but not under powering. You won’t find a sub at the same price with this quality and spl mix. I plan buying two more and running 3 12” American bass XR’s. Buy it while you can.
