Convenient, well designed, excellent quality, great value for money
Excellent product. Because of the wide range of sizes I was able to order the perfect size to snugly fit on my scope. The push-button release is extremely convenient and is positioned within easy reach of my right thumb when I'm gripping the stock. Far easier to press a button than to hook a tab backwards.
The cover flips open smoothly and quickly without excessive noise and rotates back far enough towards the body of the scope that I can look down the scope while wearing a broad-brimmed hat without the cover getting in the way of my hat brim - unlike some flip covers I've used that stick straight up above the sight, making it impossible to look down the scope without knocking your hat off! Borrowed my son's peaked cap and the opened cover did get in the way a little bit. Object lesson: wear a broad-brimmed hat, not a peaked cap...
The cover seals well, which means good protection for the lens that can be opened quickly if you spot game. Tab-style flip cover on the front of the scope, push-button release cover on the back; simultaneously push the former with my left thumb and the latter with my right and, in the blink of an eye, the scope is ready for action.
Closing the cover once you're done shooting is quick and convenient.
Great value for money, excellent build quality and functionality. Far more convenient than "bikini" scope covers or neoprene bands, which are slow to remove and you're stuck with the problem of what to do with them once they're off the scope (which is not such a problem at the range but somewhat of an issue out in the woods).
