4-Way Manifold Gauge Set

I ordered this set thinking that it would only be of 'decent' quality at the particular price point I purchased it for, however, I was GENUINELY impressed with the quality across the board! The gauges are rock-steady, exhibiting ZERO bounce. The aluminum body (manifold) is hefty, along with reasonable quality valves that operate smoothly and provide positive shut-off. The 4-way manifold is really the way to go if you'll be doing any flushing, evacuating, oil filling, (with an additional/optional injector tool) etc. I have had this gauge set hooked up to my refrigerator for approx. one week now due to ongoing diagnostics. I had to add some R134a refrigerant charge to my fridge, and this kit comes with a nice canned refrigerant adapter (R134a, possibly fits others?) as well. I'm thoroughly impressed with it and would highly recommend this set to anyone who's looking for a quality set at an affordable price-point, especially if you're only using this for occasional or amateur, home usage. It'll definitely get it done for you...

GREAT GRIPS BUT, TOO DARN EXPENSIVE!!!

First, let me say that I'm VERY happy with these grips! While I answered the question: 'is it a good value' with a 'yes' response, I do feel that Hogue is 'gouging' the heck out of consumers with the price point of these grips! They ARE of great quality, fit and finish, however, there are several other makers of G10 grips out there that are selling theirs for as much as 30% - 40% cheaper. I know Hogue has a great reputation for quality and fit and I've owned MANY over the years. That's all good and fine but, PLEASE bring the cost back to reality!!! Other than that one gripe, I do love em' and would do it again, albeit, griping about price again! Hogue, are you listening???

Hogue grip...

If you have larger hands this grip provides/improves great purchase on an otherwise diminutive handgun. It actually gives the gun a whole new, secure feel. Apparently, some people have reported difficulty installing the grip over the frame, however, soaking the grip in hot water for just a few minutes will make the grip very pliable and make the install quick and easy. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs to 'get a grip' on their grip! :)
