High rate of repair on this radio
1 of 5 found this helpful These radio's had a high rate of return for repair. The SMT components were not wave soldered correctly and would come loose shorting out the radio and cause fires. This is one Yaesu to stay away from!

1 of 1 found this helpful These are necessary for tuning and trimming components on Printed Circuit boards. You CANNOT use metal screwdrivers to do an alignment. A metal screw drivers interferes with magnetic and electromagnetic flux. These plastic trimmer tools will not intefere with anything. Every technician should own a set of these. They are worth their weight in diamonds. Buy a set so that when you need them, you will have them on hand.
