More durable than it looks.
Bought this unit because I previously had a similar Oster that lasted for nearly 20 years. The unit has much thinner walls and a power supply base that's flimsy in comparison to the older model, so I was a little skeptical. So far, though, its performance is great, and the top opening feature is a great improvement. Should easily last 10 years.

Everything fits in single gang electrical box wall opening.
Clean recessed power (code compliant) connection with plenty of room for low-voltage connectors (HDMI, Ethernet, Audio, RF). Great that it fits in a single gang electrical box wall opening.

Finicky
With the growing number of cord-cutters, Sling needs to add TV antenna tuners to its newer boxes. These old boxes have first-generation digital tuners that just don't work well in a high speed internet environment, and SlingPlayer apps don't function with EPG. Disappointed that Sling has sold out to the cable companies.
