Fast K cup brewing, carafe side not so much.
The K cup brews in about 90 seconds for a 14 oz cup. The regular pot side is a bit slow, about 15/20 minutes for 12 cups. Even if the k cup reservoir is low on water for the cup size your making, it will stop brewing and say to add water then finish from were it stopped at. Actually a very nice combination coffee brewer.

Well worth the purchase.
A 2 minute install. The long hose and the adapter caps for different size bottles is a plus.
