does exactly what its supposed to and easy to use
1 of 1 found this helpful I hooked this up with no problem to my 97 civic using a combination of the factory service manual and the supplied instructions, to make sure it worked. I then disassembled it and added on some transistors and resistors to turned it into a custom VTEC controller. I found that this was very easy to modify with a basic knowledge of electronic circuits.
If you want to build your own VTEC controller, don't bother. Although I was able to get the VTEC solenoid to operate, the ECU still controls the fuel injectors, and without extra fuel being squirted in, the extra air is pointless. :(

sturdy board
These green double-sided boards are much sturdier than the single-sided tan ones. Ideal size for small one off test circuits
