Great processor for the cheaper LGA 775 motherboards.
While the Q8xxx series of the Core 2 Quad lineup aren't the most powerful, they can just edge out the Q6600 on base clock. For those cheaper boards, these will be great if you aren't looking to spend more than $11.00.

Good wireless card for hackintosh.
Using this on a X220, modified BIOS 1.43, and bought specifically for OS X Sierra. This card works great as nothing has to be done since this card essentially works out of box for Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows 10.

Great product, if you have the motherboard for it.
4 of 4 found this helpful I purchased this product knowing that it is well over 10 years old. However, for my grandparents, it is a worthy upgrade for less than $10 compared to their Core 2 Duo E2200. The Q6600 is great if you have a better motherboard to overclock the CPU, but otherwise, if you're motherboard is of the cheaper LGA 775 lineup, go with something like the Q8xxx series as they are faster out of the box. This beauty, while old, can breath new life into those old Pentium 4 / Core 2 Duo machines.
