Re-recorded songs , avoid ! .
Was looking forward to hearing all the old hits again , including 'dance' versions of 2 of them . Sadly these are all 're-recorded' versions very much lacking any punch you would expect modern day production values could give them , stick to the originals ! .

Typically Gilbert ! .
Have loved Gilbert's music since late 1971 ... ok ... it's mostly his earlier work ( 1970s ) i do have a few of his albums on CD and LP , inc 2 best-of compilations . When i saw this new album of his being a 'signed' copy at such a great price i just had to have it ! . The music does not stray too far from his trademark style and is enjoyable , it's not his best work to date but give the man some due he has been making music and touring for over 50 years ! . Worth the purchase ! .

Classic 70s Tull ! .
Had this on vinyl when it first came out , so had to buy it again on Remastered CD . Forgot just how good an album this is of theirs , Ian Anderson on top form , in my opinion this was the last of the great 'classic' Tull albums . Also , it contains a 'Christmas' song ( ring out solstice bells ) which i can't see myself playing till ..... christmas ! ? .... apart from that ... nice ! .
