5 year refurb
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought canner new in 2013...last year it seemed to want to leak and condense a bit while canning. So a new seal in 2019 and it is like new again. We use it a lot, so I guess it should be considered a 5 year replacement. We probably canned 1k jars with it and used it as 15lb pressure cooker for deer necks. At 15%-20% the cost of the entire canner, it seems a bit steep, but there's really no way around it for a Presto.
