Escape From Iran

Over-all, I'd say quite an exceptional book to read. Having friends & aquaintances from Iran, it was interesting to read this ladies story on the difficulties she faced living in a Muslim country & not having any rights as to how or where she & her child could live,be educated, etc!! For fear of being beaten, even killed by her psychotic husband! Not being able to trust any of his family or friends incase of betrayal & mental torture!! & Finally her escape to eventual freedom!! With the help of her Christian faith & beliefs!!! EXCELLANT!!!! Now turned into a film!!!!!!!!! A very good FILM depicting the trauma's of a Foreign Woman in a Hostile Family environment.

Gettesburg

Having looked around a few years searching for this piece of American History on DVD, took a chance & scanned EBAY. There it was.I couldnt believe my luck. Put bids in, but seemed to get pipped at the post every time. However, I persevered & eventually out-smarted all who were bidding & became an owner of THE GETTESBURG ADDRESS. It is a brilliant piece of History captured on DVD. A fine film. Thanks to EBAY I now own a copy..............Jon
