Perfect Parts
Very well made. Perfect size for my 1/48 Thunderbolt.

Monogram P51D review
One must consider that this kit dates to the 1970's. As such it will not come up to the standards of a Tamiya or a Hasagawa. However, having said that , I believe this kit is the best of the "old school" kits. It has a full cockpit interior, options to display partial engine details or not. Also, machine guns and ammo trays in one wing may be displayed. For the price I don't think it can be beat.
I give it 4 stars only because there are a couple of fit issues common to the kits of the era. Nothing that a little patience and putty can't cure.

Great Product, but not for the beginner.
Highly detailed accurate fully articulated tracks. The parts are small and require a bit of patience to complete, but the final product is worth all the effort. I recommend a high quality forged type of nipper be used to clip the parts from the sprues. I used the Tamiya 74123. It reduces cleanup time substantially.
