An over achiever
Didn't expect it to be as powerful as it is, even on mid setting it's boiling water. I bought it for several reasons, first we live in South Florida and when a hurricane comes along an knocks out power it's an easy appliance to power with a generator. Another reason is it is more economical than running our stove, even though it is a new stove, this is more energy efficient. Only downside is the fan noise, it does make a fan noise similar to a overhead exhaust hood which is not horrible but in my opinion engineering could have reduced it to nothing. So far I am very satisfied with the purchase and have recommended it to friends.

Refurbished but like new
Makes great espresso and looks great on the counter. It has plenty of room to put your frothing pitcher underneath the brew head. Has the cup warming plate on top which makes a nice area to store your cups. Wife says it makes more espresso and quicker than our previous machine. We bought it as a back up Espresso maker but it has become our main.
