Classic Styled Toaster with Auto Control
Toaster is styled in classic retro sense with mostly even browning on both sides of bread in either side of this 2 slice toaster. Toasts wide sliced bread and full sized bagels with good control settings to accomplish light to extra dark browning.

6 of 6 found this helpful This unit was purchased to achieve outstanding audio imaging and video accuracy for all CDs and DVDs in an engineered audio system. If you are an audiophile or have audio experience with CD and DVD players, the 5910ci is superior in every way, except it does not play blue ray or HD DVDs. It will play almost every format CD and DVD, including SACD and Audio DVD, and HDCD. If you have an engineered speaker placement in a practical room setting, and good to high quality speakers, this unit will noticeably provide great audio imaging. With electrically isolated circuits, large dimensions and weight, this unit has very high signal to noise ratios especially for audio, ensuring great presentation. The load response time is good for CDs and multilayer DVDs when compared to CD and other DVD players. Video presentation to all TVs is high, especially when upconversion and video noise reduction is employed for HD TVs. Unit is somewhat sensitive to damaged CDs and DVDs and sometimes may not play them. Though this unit is past market, it is a great bargin compared with today's HD DVD players on the audio side. No audio or video compromise has been sacrificed made by manufacturer for this era.
Unit should be handled with care as a stand alone and ideally placed outside of any book shelf style system to control ventilation restrictions. It runs warm and must be ventilated enough to keep operating temperatures below 100-105 degrees F in the exit hot air streams in all ambient conditions. Other styled DVD players from this manufacturer and market era(2930ci, 3930ci, and 5910ci) also run warm and may be considered fragile as they could hang up or suffer load failure if adequate ventilation is not suitable for long term continuous operation.
Aesthetically it has a squared face style and presents all audio and video information during playback via a large window. Remote is fairly large, but easy to operate. Menu and setup are detailed and should be studied to achieve the most from unit with your system. Many complimentary articles have been written about this unit and technically it has achieved superior video and audio results.
