One of the best Agatha Raisins.
Terrific understanding of the jealousies of small town life. Agatha’s lovely rival proves not so sweet and finally alienates a villager who murders her and plants her in a pot. Great characters and a fun conclusion as Agatha and James do it again.

A terrific and important book.
A terrific book which does an excellent job of describing the history of man-caused problems in the Great Lakes and ways that we have tried to address them. Egan does a masterful job of telling the stories of individuals involved. Once caught up in the events it is hard to stop reading. Highly recommend.

Excellent detailed description of the events of 1775.
One of the best books on the early days of the American Revolution. The author makes the siege of Boston and the American invasion of Canada and the battle for Quebec come alive. Very well researched and documented. What a difference the arrival of George Washington makes! Highly recommended.
