2 of 10 found this helpful Our water is directly from the Silurian Aquifer via a 500’ well. Its TDS is 250-275. I follow the recommendation and change the filter when the tester reads 006. The first pitcher of water from my “new” filters read 006 (coincidence?) It held at 006 for about four fills then steadily rose to >050. I replaced that filter with another from this order and the first reading from that filter was 008. I can imagine a few scenarios that would explain this, but I won’t be using the remaining filters and will hope that Sam’s Club once again offers a 4-Pack for $34.98.
