Great for Mom
2 of 2 found this helpful My 91 year old mother-in-law is always misplacing everything smaller than a toaster. We often spend weeks looking for her keys or purse and find them in the strangest places. As long as she doesn't lose the transmitter, this should help greatly..The item arrived three days after I ordered it in good condition. The transmitter and fobs are quite simple to pair up. As a note, you do not need a pen or other pointed instrument to pair these up. Turn the fob on, press the button on the fob and then press a letter on the transmitter. that's all there's to it. I have tested these inside various cabinets and drawers and you can hear them from several feet away. As a note, these come in a plastic bag so if you are planning to use them as a present, you will need to provide your own box.

File size is important
When I first uploaded a couple hundred files to a SD card, they would not display with few exceptions. After playing around with the files, I discovered that the display is sensitive to file size. After I bulk resized (larger) the files, they all displayed correctly. There is no mention in the enclosed literature of this issue.

Work just fine.
These balances work as well as those originally installed in my home. Although I only needed one, I bought a pair to insure that the window was balanced as the remaining one was 19 years old. I recommend.
