No more water buckets!
1 of 1 found this helpful I am so glad that I made this purchase! The water changer is so easy to set up and use. Because of my faucet size, I did have to purchase a separate adapter from my local hardware store because the one included in the package didn't fit my faucet. The changer works to clean and vacuum the gravel, siphon water and return clean water to the tank. No more messy buckets and towels and wet floors! I purchased the 25 ft changer and it easily reaches my laundry room sink to do my water changes. It is sturdy and well made and I'm so glad I made this purchase!

Love it!
I have used several different heaters in my 75 gallon tank and this Eheim 250W is by far the best one ever! Recently, while cleaning my tank, I forgot to unplug my previous heater, ultimately damaging the thermostat. During my research to replace it with one that had a safeguard against out-of-water hazzards, I saw some great reviews on the Eheim, plus the reasonable price and subsequently purchased this one. Not only does it shutoff when the water level is low, it also has a built-in temperature calibrator. I did purchase a slightly more powerful heater than is needed for my tank but I prefer a heater that doesn't have to work so hard to do its job. So far, I'm very impressed and pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this heater.
