Works fine for me with a Macbook 12"
I think I had to get a driver download from Logitech, but this has worked as well as the wifi versions that require the USB dongle.

amazingly functional for a low cost zoom
I wanted an inexpensive longer zoom for my Pentax K5. This one has good picture quality, the auto focus electronics work. and the circuits convey all the metadata to the image file. So, it's a useful lens when I need the long reach (450mm 35mm equivalent at 300mm extension).
