GM Genuine Parts EP376 Electric Fuel Pump

Last of this type of fuel pump.

Repl;acement went well (except for the pump being in the tank). Hopefully this one will last longer than the other 2 pumps I've had to put in.

Polaris P40 repairs.

This picture is not representative of the current item. The white gear (rt. side) has now been replaced with an aluminum or stainless one. Also not showing are the bearings on either side--they are subject to wear, which then causes the unit's gears NOT to mesh and in turn causes the P40 to stop cleaning. Replaced some other parts in my P40 and now it runs like new. If you need to have your unit serviced, MAKE sure they check for any bearing slop in the mating components.

Polaris Quattro Sport Drive Shaft Assembly

Polaris P40/Sport Srive shaft Assy.

Drive shaft Assy. fit into my P40 and got the unit back into the pool in about 1/2 hour. I've had so many "failures" with my P40 lately----you'd think the parts would be more robust. This is the 3rd part I've had to replace since the first of the year. Seeing as most of the failed parts should be under some better warranty, I've had to purchase them as Leslies Pool Service CAN'T seem to get the parts. The "engine" part that failed the first of the year, Leslie's has had on order since January AND STILL CANNOT get a replacement!!!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH POLARIS????????
