Excellent Craftsmanship
Excellent knife with perfect fit and finish. Perfect size for me, the full size trapper is way too big for pocket carry. This one fits well in the small
key pocket of my jeans. It came out of the box hair shaving sharp. Not a complaint, but I didn't realize the liners were brass colored, not silver. I love this knife and would not hesitate to suggest it for daily carry or to give as a gift to a knife collector. It doesn't have a pocket clip, so if you want to prevent scratching and pocket lint build up I'd suggest getting a sheath for it. It is also a slip joint, so it doesn't lock. Make sure you do not close the blade on your hand, because it's very sharp!

If you have made it this far in the series you will not be disappointed!
I loved this series so I may be a bit biased. This book was part two in the Chainfire Trilogy but I do not suggest starting with the trilogy but with Wizard's First Rule. If you have then made it this far you will greatly enjoy this book. Knowing this is not a book meant to have a conclusion I was not upset by the ending, I was just anxious to get my hands on the last book. I definitely was not disappointed with this book.

Great Gift for Knife Collectors
2 of 4 found this helpful I can't compare it to a regular Buck 119 being that this my first one, but I love this knife. It's about half the price of a Kabar Fighting/Utility knife but just as good of a value. The knife comes shaving sharp. Being stainless steel I'm not sure how difficult it will be to sharpen yet. The sheath is a high quality leather, but it's made in Mexico. The only downside to the knife it that it has a slippery handle designed for someone with bigger hands. The grip is also a bit square and bulky, but not uncomfortable. The 75th anniversary logo on the sheath and in the handle are very nice touches. It's a beautiful knife that would be a great gift for a knife collector. I plan on using it while camping and fishing. Hopefully the slick grip won't be an issue if it gets wet.
