Not a main street tool, but unique alternative to explore, good quality and wroked magically
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm a DIY, not a Pro. doing some projects related to soldering, Have limited experiences in flame and this electric type soldering.
ways of connecting copper pipes ( pressure, shark-bite, flame and electric soldering). Do I recommend this product, it's neutral , yes and no both.
several observations:
1 it works ( than you might think not), but slower than flame, most occasions it's way safer than flame type,
2 it is more convenient than flame, i felt, no need to turn it on and off very often, there is a stand you can lay it on.
3 you need a power cord to be laid/tied on you shoulder/waist .corded power-tool
4 It's overall well made with quality. But the shim/sleeves may not work well ( in my case, lossy/flimsy heads was dangerous and prolong my time of soldering, but they do have extra sleeves comes with the product package. I would suggest manufacture to re-design this, they could drill small holes on both heads and using small screws to tighten and hold the heads on the gun ( likely regular soldering tool does)
5 even it's flamless, but for tight spaces, it has limits due to it's physical configuration, in another word, it does not gain advantages over the flame type, which if you only pay attention not to burn the adjacent wood material. a flame is much smaller than the the "double" heads.
6 the tool is not popular, so price is high ( even this refurbished one), comparing to flame type I mean, ( apple to orange). but you don't need to re-charge the fuel. (electricity vs propane)
7 the heads are also expensive , sizing from 3/8 to 1 inch. I think if the tool gain marketing and popularity, it will become cheaper, even other manufacturers will do, like i-Phone cases and iPhone itself,
8 Ideally, you should buy two sets of such tools, one is for 1/2 size and other for 3/4 , 1 or 3/8 sizes, in some situations, you may ask a 3rd hand to have two sets heating up at the same spot in order to do a rapid and effect joining.
Bottom line, the tool works and works better than I anticipated/expected. I'm happy with the purchase, but I cannot highly recommend this tool due to the observations I made above, the manufacturers and re-seller outlets need more long term sale strategy to gain more market.

Essential part for Fortin brand remote starter DIY, must have!!!!!!1( considering the cost before starting)
Attention DIY remote start installer, this is a must have part, you must consider to purchase if you want to do it yourself. The manufacturer of the remote starter bypass module make it an extra investment for DIYs to use this EVO all one modules and complicate your whole process.. Down to basic, it's just 4 line datalink cable junction box in order to hook up the module to a windows PC to run their flash manager program during your installation,
Simple to use and no need to learn just connect it.( You may need update the updater itself the firmware before you update your module's firmware)
It's more or less acting an another layer of making manufacturer's profit ( or to be competitive with other brands for marketing), they can easily just sell a simple usb to datalink 4 line cable ( with one end of 4line datalink and other end USB port, so you can directly hook the module and PC. If you argue there is necessity ( proprietary circuit), I would suggest the manufacture adding that circuit to the module itself, and truly by then their product be called Evo-All.
Sorry Fortin, I'm not an evil, just to perfect your evo please.

Android 8.0 versitale HU. Problematic now
The good: Fast head unit, wakeup 2s sleep 4-5, Model: GA2170
The bad: Sound is also kind of weak ( 1/3 power of my oem), clear enough in low volume range
The ugly: the dim LCD screen ( also very reflective), in most day time, it's become uncomfortable to view, ( I’m not here trying to retard product, it's still you can see the fonts clearly readable), it's just kind of uncomfortable and unpleasant to watch the screen, maybe it's only my particular unit issue, or it's a general design flaw. (could they use much cheaper LCD light source???), I wish to hear comments from the community, I also wish to know, an exact look alike product, called pumpkin ( AE0273B) priced higher than this. Are these are exact same product from the same factory from Shenzhen, goes to different dealers or they use the same open source design scheme, but with different grades of components??, I’m also eagerly to know
GPS works, WiFi sucks, weak and slow after several weeks of retesting ( you may have to swap to a better antenna to increase its reception range), both Mics works, but both not very sensitive. radio works fine.
Installation is kind of easy except one thing: the dimension of the unit and its double bezel is kind of larger than the body of the unit, so it's not a accurate double din sizing, in my case, it didn't fit perfect, the bezel will prevent the unit completely sliding into the standard double din sized frame. so in my case, it's not surface flushed.
after 1 month, right side Hard button key illumination started flicking/flashing, now concerns about long term quality. will update, photos were taken in cloudy day time
