There is a reason this mic has a good reputation
It's just about as good as it gets at this price point. And it's a... I can't believe I'm saying this... a sure thing. You can throw a lot of money away trying to save twenty bucks. This unit won't disappoint, and the build is just so much more solid than most of the other lower-price microphones.
I do a couple of podcasts where I feature guests. I bought a few other mics, including some highly rated condensers. I finally did what I should have done first, and bought a pair of these.

Good camera, and zero problem installation
I needed the wide field of view to accommodate two speakers. It did a great job of that. The image quality is better than the camera built into the laptop. It has a little problem with a too-bright background, but still better than the alternative. Setup was automatic. It has a screw-in base that lets me put it on a tripod, so it covers all the bases I needed.
