Useful for many types of guns
I mounted this on a Ruger MK-II .22 pistol with a very high rise non-gunsmithing see-through detachable scope mount from Sun (also bought on Ebay). Since the barrel is well below the scope you have to worry that the scope does not have enough elevation range to be usable. This was not a problem and with the cheap 10 dollar boresighter I also got on Ebay, sighting in was no problems. In less than 10 shots I was dead on and there was plenty of adjustment left in the scope.
The ability to select different reticle patterns was a huge plus.

Good general replacement valve
The great thing about this valve is that it comes with adapters for all inlet and outlet sizes and locations and can replace a variety of gas valves. There are various web sites that show the replacement valves they have with their specifications. You will notice that the specifications are generally all the same, only the size and position of the outlet is different. This valve can replace them all.
