I love Joan Crawford and don't believe this is an accurate portrayal, but still a great movie!
Although I question how accurate of a portrayal "Mommie Dearest" is of the real Joan Crawford, standing alone, this is a great movie. Being a Joan Crawford fan, I tend to think Christina's story may not be completely true. Nonetheless, it has become a quotable classic and Faye Dunaway is more than compelling. I can watch it again and again! Blu-ray arrived quickly, in perfect condition.
