Solid Dry Iron Good not Great
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a good dry iron. It provides no steam. I want this type of iron because steam irons rust or get mineral deposits which stain my shirts -- permanently. I use a trigger bottle mister instead. This model is heavy so it irons out wrinkles easier. Soleplate is not super-well machined and it doesn't glide as smoothly across fabrics as other irons. Also this model is a gray market item that is meant for sale in central and south America. Nevertheless it works fine and the price was right. Better quality dry irons are antiques from the 50s and 60s and the wiring inside them often is rotted and dangerous. This is new and wiring is safe.
