Great little drive, great little price.
plugs right up and auto-loads. No issues at all. Used the "copy and paste" to back up a 2TB drive that was maybe 30% filled up, and it took a long time. Might try some of the utilities on the drive to see if that speeds up that process some.

solid, tight u-joint
had one of the cheaper stainless u-joints on my old 71 Camaro, and it would never tighten completely on the steering box splined shaft, leaving just enough left/right play to be annoying. This one did fit, but I did add two more set screws to it from my previous experience. It's solid now.

Small, power efficient, GigaBit capable, easy to install, and inexpensive. It works.
Only used 3 of the ports on it, as looking at reviews by others suggests using more it starts to slow down. However, using an Arduino Uno for servo control, and a LiDAR sensor (bags of data) and connected to a hub it works well. And runs off a regulated 5VDC supply. I have not tested it using more ports, so the problem reported by others may or may not still be an issue.
