Oustanding, state-of-the-art Phone System!
I have purchased several phones over the years - always trying to buy the top line products but have been eventually disappointed. I did my research and came up with the Panasonic KX-TG6545B DECT 6.0 phone system - and I couldn't be more pleased! First and foremost the cordless phones all have REGULAR AAA rechargeable batteries (my last one had a special battery that cost me $20 to replace!). Set up was very easy. Important features:
(1) The base unit will take up to SIX cordless handsets (3 styles though 5 come with this system).
(2) All handsets utilize the phone book within the system (don't have to program each phone).
(3) You can add a booster module for extended reach of the cordless handsets.
(4) You can retrieve/listen to answering machine messages, erase, save, etc., from ANY handset (or the base unit, of course).
(5) You can individually name each handset for location (easier for intercom).
(6) Several selections for answering (can be different on each handset).
(7) Each handset has its individual alarm as well - one time only or daily!
(8) Pick up the handset and the large-numbered keys light up.
(9) Large, LCD screen - easy to see.
(10)Did I mention the voice caller ID - yes it actually announces who's calling! (can be turned on/off)
(11)VERY clear reception.
Overall the price I paid was well worth this system. I strongly recommend it to anyone needing multiple functionalities.
Happy Holidays!

Good quality overall of tables; stand needs some work.
Pros: Nice looking. Quality, strong wood with nice finish. Tables all well constructed and sturdy; they come already assembled.
Cons: Stand has to be assembled. Not all screws went in snug. Had to use wood glue on all joints to insure would hold all tables and stay upright. Once glued / assembled - was adequate. I realize the cross piece on table legs is there to insure stability, but it gets in the way of your feet and has a sharp-feeling edge if you rest your bare feet on it (we don't wear shoes in our house).
Overall quality tables once stand is glued. I recommend.

Good - but recommend looking elsewhere
2 of 4 found this helpful After trying two other brands GPS', I decided to try out the Magellan Maestro 4700 for three reasons: (1) Consumer Reports rated this one very high, (2) combines "predicted" and current traffic monitoring to insure the quickest route possible, and (3) previous satisfaction with the "NeverLost" (made by Magellan) in Hertz rental cars. Setup was fairly easy. It quickly acquired GPS satellites - even inside my home. It was quick to figure navigation to a desired point. Voice was natural and easily understood. In route it did a great job at following turns, splits and exits. However, for two reasons, I did not keep it: (1) There is no "master" button to return to the main menu which means you have to click on "back" through all the previous screens to get back to the main menu - especially annoying during a current navigation route, and (2) though I tried using several different, clean fingertips, I often had to press on an onscreen button several times to make it work - again, especially annoying when I had to press on "back" continually to get back to the main menu. I do not recommend this GPS.
