Love Intex Pools
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my third Intex pool. The first was small (the one with the blue ring around the top). I really enjoyed it so last year I bought another Intex pool, but way bigger (like 18 feet wide I think). I had to downsize because we don't have a fenced backyard. So this year I bought this pool. The perfect medium. I was between the 10x30 and the 12x30. I chose the 12x30 because having that extra room is important. It makes it just a little better in my opinion. It is easy to assemble, but I have the experience from last summer so it was breeze. Took me about 30 minutes to get the pool up and standing. I brought the pump inside and assembled all the connections so when I went outside all I had to do was connect the three hoses to the appropriate place. Then I let the pool fill up and after it was full I then turned on the pump and followed those instructions. Also, after the pool was up I filled it 2 inches to get out any wrinkles and make sure it was on even ground before I finished filling it all the way up.
My only complaint about the pool is I wish it had some type of small ladder. You will have to lift your kids in and out and if you are petite like I am then you will also find it awkward to get in and out. If I put one leg over to get in the pool frame is almost to tall for me without needing a step ladder or something. I have googled ladders and such to fix this problem and they are expensive so not worth it. I will just deal with the annoyance.
