stops drafts.
Great product. We get a lot of wind where we live, normal "flapper style" vents let lots of cold drafts into our laundry room which is right off the kitchen. The North West Wind hits right on the wall where the dryer vent is located. Until we installed this style vent, we got a nasty draft all winter. The wind actually forces this vent to be more tightly closed! Also, Dryer vents need to be vacuumed out periodically....this one you can open and vacuum from the outside with a shop vac!

I had one of these larger petit pans and it is so very useful, I wanted several more. It is a forgotten gem from years ago! It is so useful!

good quality replacement part
Not much cons on the product itself, costs a lot to get it programmed to your car but that would be true with an OEM part plus OEM is $50 more expensive.
