The size of the thick part is correct. Only the thick end of the tapered end is too small. Experience learns that even the original Givi bungs get lost from time to time, despite the fact that their thick part of the tapered end is a bit thicker. Hence these ones can be expected to be lost quite a bit quicker. Some glue would help to keep them in place?
