Irene Goodnight
Classical old-days popular/folk and Hit-P,arade songs from the 1940's-1950's sung in the most beautiful way possible, by singers trained in harmony. A group, all of whom have superb voices and are obviously dedicated to the music they are singing. Probably the most definitive and best version of "Irene Goodnight" on the planet. I am so thrilled with the CD and the nostalgia trip the music evokes. I decided to buy it after hearing an old Pete Seeger concert on the Radio, and there is absolutely nothing about the CD that I dislike. (I also went on to buy an old Burl Ives CD too, "A Little Bitty Tear". That's also a nostalia trip worth having in your collection).
