Priced to high for obsolete design
Airlines & hospitals will not allow it without an additional mask on top due to exhaust vent concerns. Vent allows easy exhale but may need to carry a spare cover. Where allowed, it seems to work great. E-W US ✈️ plus return in Oct2020, no covid. Obviously significantly less effective without a tight seal. Don't waste your money if you have facial hair along edges. I trust this 3x more than home made to keep me safe. Read 46 ER employees at KP San Jose hospital contracted covid. Not sure if they were wearing N95 or if strictly wearing. If both does not bode well. Minimize contact outside your bubble & ensure everyone else does who is in it. That is far more effective. Din't become complacent or could end up like San Jose ER staff. I would buy it again but not for as much, maybe $15 less.

OEM part works great
When installing whatever you do, do not let the rear harch close without the new or old switch connector in place!!! There is no way to open the hatch other than a connected switch. Lay blankets or anything across so it cannot close and lock. Other than that should be fine. I could not get mine apart easily so took the entire hatch plate off to install new switch.

$15 too high
3 of 4 found this helpful Outdated, not allowed on planes or hospitals without additional covering. Must not have facial hair that breaks seal or not worth it. Keep spare cheap slip over cover to put over valve as needed. Likely much better protection than home made if worn properly. Rotate mine on 7 day cycle in zip locks so covid has time to die before next wearing. Nothing is fool proof but combined with keeping a closed bubble with minimal contact with those outside it has kept me safe. New designs have no valves but are likely harder to exhale through. This design may be relegated to the dust bowel of history so priced too high for old model in my opinion from what I paid. Got me RT ✈ E-W coast without covid during open center seat.
