Excellent

Had to replace the shell coz it got battered over the years. Simply slid the original electronics into the new one ... and all went back to really working 100% of the time. The only difference is... perhaps the screw holding the 2 bits together....

Good quality!

A pleasant surprise from opening the bag to actually placing it on the camera. Positives? The glue seems to be of good quality (a month in, and there's no sign of anything going "south") and, you can't tell the difference btw the old rubber and this bit. Not so positives...?! None, really; other than the fact you need to know to clean the surface to glue on with isopropyl. There aren't any instructions. Having said that... if you order something like this... you're supposed to know what you're doing!!! :)

Image quality doesn't come any better than this

Not even going to mention its sharpness... That golden ring means serious business :) Built like a tank,.... weighs as much as one and unless you're a bodybuilder, you'll have to have a serious tripod at hand (good geared head would be my suggestion) Focusing is almost instantaneous and I can't see any chromatic aberrations.
