Good value choice, not best quality
4 of 4 found this helpful On the bright side, it works with the tool I bought it for (Black & Decker string trimmer) and charges with the original charger. It was also wayyy cheaper than getting an original battery, and I was still able to finish my entire yard. With my single battery I had to choose whether my front yard or back was the one to get done today.
My only complaint is the single-charge life of this battery. My original battery is 1500 mAh and lasts about 20-25 minutes; this 3.0Ah (3000 mAh, so "double" the life) only lasted about 35 minutes.
Given that this is a cheap knockoff of the original Black & Decker battery, I'd say I got what I paid for and expected. It wasn't a waste of money, but if you want a truly long-lasting battery, you may want to go with the name brand.
