Sound is crystal clear.
I bought this for someone who is losing his eyesight. He loves to read and so listening to books is 2nd best. These headphones are perfect for him. It took him a long time to learn to turn the headphones on and off but he now manages it with ease. The only thing he can't do is plug them in for recharging by himself. So he just always has someone do it for him when he is told the battery is low. I also bought for him the magnetic charging cord for his phone. He no longer has any trouble keeping his phone charged.
