Jagger razor
These are, in my opinion, the best razors out there for the money. I have several razors, three Jaggers, a few older Gillettes and a couple others as well. The quality of finish and the thickness of the plating are unmatched for the price. Nice heft and the perfect level of aggressiveness with Feather blades for my beard.

Great feature set for the money!
4 of 4 found this helpful As mid-priced micro red dots go, this is probably at the top of the list. Although it lacks the 32 MOA circle of the HS507C X2 (it just has the 2 MOA dot), it is also a good bit cheaper and it retains all the other features that make these models so effective.
From the aluminum body, solar power system, shake-awake, side access to the battery, RMR footprint, auto adjust/manual adjust/lock-out brightness settings, glass lens and screaming bright dot, there's no other micro dot that comes close.
My old eyes have some stigmatism so the dot is a bit blurry for me, unless I turn it way down, however, because of the 2 MOA size, it is still very effective.
My one complaint is also considered by some to be a positive attribute, that is the size of the buttons. They are low profile and therefore not easy to bump accidentally, however they are rather small and close together, making it difficult for me to turn off (it requires pushing both buttons at the same time to accomplish this). I've though about making a little aluminum tool to do this at the range. Perhaps there are already 3D printed tools out there to do this (hint, hint).
If there was one more item that I'd want included in the package, it would be a picatinny adapter for mounting the dot to handguns and rifles with that feature. My 407C is mounted to a Ruger Mark4 22/45 suppressed pistol. I found an inexpensive adapter on Ebay for $20 that did the trick. I'm sure that Holosun could add one that wouldn't appreciably affect the price.
When we start talking about duty and carry guns that I must stake my life on, I go with the best available, in my case that's a Trijicon RMR. That doesn't mean that others don't use this dot for that purpose, it's just too new to me for me to place that kind of faith in. YMMV.
All in all, well worth the price of admission. BTW, I have the HS507C X2 as well. It's going on a range gun that will be used for some informal competition.
Time will tell how durable these dots are, but based on what I've seen so far, it looks promising!

Makes the Shockwave a functional tool!
Anyone who's been looking at lasers knows that Crimson Trace is top of the line and has so many different options to fit a wide range of pistols, rifles and shotguns. This particular unit is noteworthy in its usefulness on the Mossberg Shockwave, making it an exceptionally functional hip shooter.
Mounting was a simple and it is very secure. It also accommodates a rail on top if the user wants to add a red dot.
The green version that I purchased is quite good in sunlight. When sighting in, I used a brass, red laser bore sighter shell that looks bright indoors. When I took it outside to adjust, the red laser bore sighter was considerably less visible than the CT green dot.
Of course the sight-in process was very easy, just turn the adjustment screws till the dots merge. Considering the time of year, I half expected when I merged the red and green dots that Santa Claus would appear.... no such luck...;-)
As a lefty, I like the button options for turning it on and have no problem activating it with my left thumb,
that includes both the master switch and the on button.
I also installed the Streamlight 1000 lumen forend designed for the Shockwave and the green dot appears right in the center of the white light. This makes for an excellent self defense tool when things go bump in the night.
I wholeheartedly recommend this product.
