5.0 aptX HD True HiFi Long Distance Bluetooth Music Audio Receiver DAC BluDento
    Sep 02, 2020
    Best Value HD BT Receiver
Sound on this little unit is really good! Granted I'm not running audio to it from an AptxHD equipped phone, just regular BT with 16bit/192k files, but it suits my needs. I have it running to a Marantz preamp >> Arcurus 100 power amp >> Definitive Tech sub >> Anthony Gallo CL-2 speakers. Running redbook CDs through a Topping D50 DAC has better sound, but the BluDento is much better than the Prozor BT receiver/headphone amp I had before. The music through the Prozor had no demension, not to mention the RCA outs were not line level so I really had to crank the preamp's volume up. That, plus the Prozor was not very quiet. The next step would be to get a good AptxHD transmitter hooked up to my computer and play uncompressed files like FLAC. The BluDento would really shine in my system like that. But the way I'm currently using it, I have absolutely no complaints about the sound quality.

    Pyramid WX65X 6-1/2" White Poly Woofer 290-270
    Oct 26, 2015
Great replacement for Klipsch Promedia subwoofer.
My Kilpsch Promedia's subwoofer's foam surround had ripped due to age and wear and tear. I could've refoamed the cone, but thought getting a speaker with a rubber surround would be more durable in the long run and easier to replace than refoaming. This is almost a drop in replacement. One of the leads on the Klipsch had a smaller crimp connector that didn't fit the Pyramid, but I just used some wire to tie it down to the terminal for now. Later I'll replace the crimp connector with one that fits. The bass does sound a bit congested than the stock speaker, but after a bit of breaking in it should open up more...and already is doing that. The Pyramid also seems more sensitive than the stock speaker. I don't have to turn up the bass level as much on the control unit it seems. It could be due to the heavier magnet too.

ökocat Natural Wood Cat Litter, 18-Pound, Clumping
    Mar 03, 2017
Probably The Best Natural Cat Litter!
I've tried the wheat. It clumps well but it can become very hard and almost like cement when it gets stuck to the litter box becoming a pain to remove and clean. I've tried recycled paper pellets and granules. Pellets don't clump which I prefer so I can flush down the toilet. The granules were pretty good but dusty and the cats tracked that like crazy. I've tried corn. I really like the corn product that Arm & Hammer used to make, but they don't make it any more. It clumped pretty good and lasted a long time. It wasn't too dusty. Tracking was a problem but I dealt with it as it lasted a long time. I've tried walnut mixed with the A&H corn and even though it was a bit dusty that helped a lot with clumping. That was my litter "recipe" for quite a while. Then my local store stopped selling the A&H corn and for a very short while I went with 100% walnut. My two cats started throwing up dark brown stuff. That's when I made the switch to Okocat. As I transitioned to Okocat the cats' vomiting the dark brown stuff started decreasing and is now completely gone as almost all the walnut is gone from the mix. Clumping is good and I may add some walnut again to help with that. I like that it breaks down almost immediately in the toilet and won't cause a backup. I used almost the entire box and order is still under control. No ammonia smell yet, unlike clay litter which starts within a week.
