Commander of all

The SU-800 is a commander of many nikon flashes like th Sb-600, sb-800. Not sure if it works with sb-900. If you are using nikon's flash systems and want to control them all painlessly, then su-800 is a great investment. the sb-800 alone can be used as a master flash to control others, but if you have more than one, then su-800 is great for that. Recommend it highly.

Great wide-range Nikon lens for FX cameras

Great range lens for FX cameras. So far the pictures have been great. For a daytime trip to Disney, this lens would work wonders giving wide angle all the way to far telephoto. At night, I would resort to my 24-70 f/2.8 though. A good all-around lens for the FX cameras.

One of the best affordable FX dSLRs

It has an excellent AF system compared to the Canon and much better high ISO image quality. This is best camera for low light shooting for those who can't afford the D3 or D3x. Lot of great features. Only lows are only 12MP resolution and no HD video. If you don't need very very large prints or video, then this is perfect. D700x expected to be out shortly will make up for those two deficiencies, but then price will jump by about $600 too.
