This ain't your mother's dum machine!
Certainly not for those looking for a normal drum machine, the DFAM provides incredible flexiblity and expansion for an existing modular set up. All analog signaling path means you can use the sequencers as complex oscilators, for really incredible drone material too! However, the lack of MIDI and small patch bay makes it hard sell for those just starting out, but this system plays well with others!

Great trackpad if you're already playing in the walled garden
If you're in the apple ecosystem, this is a great addition to a mac desktop setup. I love having this on my desk to speed up photo and document formatting with gestures. High resolution touch sensing with easy to use and well documented APIs for those who want to code up their own little control program to use the trackpad past the built in OSX features.
