Nice fan, worked great!
Although the supplied fan worked great, the installation is NOT for the faint-hearted. Putting it in requires completely tearing apart the laptop and removing the motherboard, paying close attention to all of the connectors that are removed. Some connectors need the top flipped up to release them, others you need to pull out making sure you don't pull out the wires, just the plug.
All in all it was a good experience, mainly because everything worked! If you have worked around small connectors on computers for a while, I'd recommend giving it a try, but make sure you have enough money in your bank account to buy the friend you are doing it for another computer should things go wrong.

Special adapter for computers that have dual video in one connector
The DMS-59 connector was designed to serve as an outlet for both DVI and Analog video signals. It also serves as a dual screen adapter so you can have 2 screens with Extended Displays with either DVI or Analog VGA video signals. These options make a special splitter like this essential to take advantage of the DMS-59 pins.
This adapter is ONLY for the Analog VGA connections to the DMS-59. Other sellers offer the DVI signals should you need them.

T25 String Head replacement
These OEM versions work for about one days work and then need to be replaced. They totally fall apart after a couple hours use. Still cheapter than hiring a landscaper. Stock Up is my advice.
