I like to have an external disc drive because A- It saves wear and tear on my internal drive and B- This drive is faster than my laptop drive, anyway. I love the sound of it spinning up to full speed to copy a CD in lossless audio. A+++ Thank you!

Had a glitch, but seems to be working now.
I am using this drive to rip all my CDs into FLAC/WAV. I had about 50 CD's ripped to the drive and all suddenly all the music files got wiped (folders remained). I'm not sure what happened, so I can't blame the drive. I'm using it again, and it seems to be working as expected, now.
