Sharpens fast, small enough for travel.
This diamond sharpening bar is just barely big enough, to sharpen a pocket knife, and it has the right size grit to speedily hone the blade in the field without having to finish it with a finer grit. Therefore it is a reasonable choice for camping, boating, or keeping it in the truck for emergencies.

Better safe than sorry
I had to file a little taper on the leading edge of the wedge for this tool to work. After this slight modification this tool with bearing holder, and driver handle worked well.

Needs better scabbard
I would give it 5 stars if only it did not hang up while putting it back in the scabbard. The scabbard works well until you are wearing it on your belt and are in an awkward position because you are climbing or are on a ladder, while hanging on with the other hand. This is when it is really important for you to secure the saw easily into the scabbard.
