My favorite clock radio-bought this one as a backup to the one I have had for years
I have the same product bought many years ago and wanted another just in case mine died. I hoped the used one would be in working order but was taking a chance. Happy to see it works.

Great concept when it works/newer models unreliable
1 of 1 found this helpful Beware of the newer models, even with the X-18 firmware update. I ordered 3 of what was advertized as the older 256 model but was sent the newer 2GB model. Only one of them worked. The other two would not show on the desktop of 4 different computers. I kept the one that worked and sent the other 2 back. Tech support consisted of them telling me to get the firmware update (already in the models I had) or check for corrosion (in a brand new product) or maybe my USB port was loose (except that I tried them in a total of 8 different ports). One of the units lit up as if charging but could not be seen and then could not be turned off. Obviously defective.
I'm not a newbie to these as I have had 3 of the 256MB models and used them successfully over the years (one is still working and I regretfully gave one away). The bone conduction concept is great and allows me to use ear plugs to keep the water out of my ears to help prevent infections. I hate to swim without the music as I put in 4-5 miles a week. I just hope that Finis does the right thing and gets a better manufacturer or programmer as the older models were definitely more reliable.
I am giving the product listed (256MB) a good rating but since it is no longer sold and the newer is all that is available, I can not recommend the product as of now.
