Mix amp makes all the difference
2 of 2 found this helpful I had the OG Astro a40’s for my 360 and loved them. Recently got back into gaming on the Xbox one. The kit I originally bought came with the m80 mix amp (the one that plugs into the controller) it had great sound quality, but was only Stereo sound so I found I was often looking behind a just to realize it was a teammate standing next to me. If you play any FPS you need the MixAmp pro TR. now I can tell exactly where a shot came from, a step was taken etc. no more looking around to find them, you can hear EXACTLY where they are. Makes your game awareness and immersive experience much richer. It’s something that can be hard to explain. But once you play with it, you will feel like a fish out of water without it. I can say without a doubt you will se a noticeable increase in your K/D.
