Exactly what I needed. Packs a punch for its size.
0 of 1 found this helpful All I needed was a quick and dirty solution for some compact, personal monitoring on stage for my vocals. I can hear my pitch and tone clearly even with earplugs in. This was the perfect solution for my problem.
I run my vocals through a live FX pedal and REALLY needed to hear some dry signal, and this little unit does the trick. I connect the mic to the input on the monitor, and then the "thru" signal goes to the vocal processor. It gets LOUD too, which is great in our rehearsal space.
Very pleased with this purchase.

Love the look, not nuts on the durability however.
This cover looks awesome. I really love that it makes my older Macbook Pro look dark and mysterious (it also hides all of the blemishes on the case...) but it's got some definite issues.
For one thing, the two pieces don't really mate up all that well, when you open the screen there's a little audible "pop" from the plastic pieces rubbing together... it's hard to describe.
As for the material, it's really prone to scuffing, the little rubber feet worked themselves off after just a couple of months, and now the plastic is starting to chip and crack around the edges from just daily use. No abuse or throwing it around.
All told, this was a very cheap cover and it shows. I didn't want a rubber "matte" one though, so this is what I settled for. I don't regret this purchase, I just honestly hoped it would have better longevity.
